Trying to follow my own don&#8217;t-do-it-all-at-once gudance, I was working very slowly over the course of a Saturday. But everything was working out, and before I knew it I had a correctly-bent left longeron.<\/p>\n<p>Just to make sure I wasn&#8217;t imagining things, I clamped the left longeron to the right. They match each other within 1\/16&#8243;, so I think I&#8217;m in good shape here.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mightyrv.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/fuse_longerons_r_l_clamped.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-1188 aligncenter\" title=\"fuse_longerons_r_l_clamped\" alt=\"Both longerons bent!\" src=\"https:\/\/mightyrv.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/fuse_longerons_r_l_clamped.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mightyrv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/fuse_longerons_r_l_clamped.jpg 500w, https:\/\/mightyrv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/fuse_longerons_r_l_clamped-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mightyrv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/fuse_longerons_r_l_clamped-400x300.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>With both &#8220;big bends&#8221; made, I flipped the clamped longerons around and measured\/marked their aft ends for some trimming that needs to be done so they fit in and around the tail bulkheads.
