I marked and pilot-drilled to #30 the holes that attach the mount&#8217;s forward flange to the F-711 bulkhead. These are the holes I had inadvertently riveted on the -711, and subsequently had to drill out. They&#8217;ll get enlarged to accommodate AN3 bolts before the tailcone goes together permanently.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mightyrv.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/fuse_tailcone_TW_drill.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-1229 aligncenter\" title=\"fuse_tailcone_TW_drill\" alt=\"F-711 drillde to TW mount\" src=\"https:\/\/mightyrv.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/fuse_tailcone_TW_drill.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mightyrv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/fuse_tailcone_TW_drill.jpg 500w, https:\/\/mightyrv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/fuse_tailcone_TW_drill-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mightyrv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/fuse_tailcone_TW_drill-400x300.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I also marked pilot holes in the tailwheel mount&#8217;s aft flange for two &#8220;keeper&#8221; rivets that will hold the mount in place until the mount, bulkhead and VS rear spar are drilled in assembly.
