I was able to get close enough by holding the rib up to the F-770 side skins and marking the approximate location of each hole. Easy enough. Then the ribs were clamped into place per instructions and drilled.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mightyrv.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/fuse_F623_drilling.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-1319 aligncenter\" title=\"fuse_F623_drilling\" alt=\"F-623s drilled\" src=\"https:\/\/mightyrv.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/fuse_F623_drilling.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mightyrv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/fuse_F623_drilling.jpg 500w, https:\/\/mightyrv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/fuse_F623_drilling-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mightyrv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/fuse_F623_drilling-400x300.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The last step in fitting the F-623s was fabricating small shear ties, or clips, that provide a load path to the F-705 bulkhead in the front, and to the F-706 bulkhead in the rear. The front clip is pretty straightforward&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mightyrv.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/fuse_F623_fwd_clip.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1320 aligncenter\" title=\"fuse_F623_fwd_clip\" alt=\"F-623 forward clip\" src=\"https:\/\/mightyrv.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/fuse_F623_fwd_clip.jpg\" width=\"375\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mightyrv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/fuse_F623_fwd_clip.jpg 375w, https:\/\/mightyrv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/fuse_F623_fwd_clip-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 375px) 100vw, 375px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8230;but the aft one has to fit in a pretty narrow space between the F-623&#8217;s rear flanges.
